Backed by the Government of Niue and New Zealand, the 2021 1 oz Godzilla Silver Coin, celebrates the latest cinematic movie release from Legendary Entertainment in collaboration with Toho Films, “Godzilla vs. Kong”.

Featuring two of the greatest icons in motion picture history the series features Godzilla and King Kong and have a very limited mintage of only 25,000 coins per design and are made in .999 fine silver and have a face value of $2 (NZD).

The 2021 movie was directed by Adam Wingard and its release marked at the time the highest-grossing international debut for a film since the coronavirus pandemic hit the film and theater industries.

The obverse the coin displays the Niue coat of arms along with the face value and year of issue surrounded by officially licensed Godzilla vs. Kong imagery.

The reverse of the coin depicts an official licensed image of Godzilla, along with the inscription “Godzilla”.
