How do I return a product?
· Please contact ServerPartDeals through our eBay store
to initiate a return. Please have the following information available.
- Order
Number for the item being returned
- Serial
number for the item being returned
- Details
of reason for return
- Preference
of replacement or refund
- Products exported outside the US require proof of malfunction for defective returns
Will I get a full refund?
· Unopened items can be returned within 30 days of
purchase for a full refund as part of our satisfaction guarantee.
· Opened, used, tampered with, modified, or products damaged
due to customer misuse/neglect that are returned will have a restocking fee of up to 50% of the item value. Typical restocking fees are 15%.
· After 30 days, returns may be denied at our discretion.
Any accepted returns (non-defective) after 30 days will have a restocking fee.
· Certain items, special orders, and large capacity SSD?s
are subject to approval before full refunds will be granted.
It's past 30 Days from purchase. Can I still get a refund?
· For an RMA past 30 days, the item can only be returned
for the following reasons under warranty.
- DOA
- Failure
· Items returned for DOA or Failure after 30 days will
be tested upon receipt of the RMA. Any items that pass testing will be charged
a restocking fee of up to 50%.
- ServerPartDeals
will make every possible effort to return the drive and reduce the restocking
fee if possible.
- ServerPartDeals
will have full discretion on restocking fees.
- For
items returned after 30 days and found upon testing to not be defective, the
customer will provide for return shipping costs.
Replacements
How do I receive a replacement?
Replacement under ServerPartDeals warranty:
· Contact ServerPartDeals with your replacement request
and reason for the request through your eBay account.
- If
the item is no longer in stock and cannot be replaced within warranty, your
order may be refunded.
- ServerPartDeals
has the right to provide replacements or refunds and will make every effort to
replace defective items.
- If
a similar replacement is available, and you prefer a replacement instead of
refund, we will confirm the Model Number with you before shipping.
· After receiving an RMA number, you can return the item
to be replaced.
Under a manufacturer warranty
· Contact the manufacturer directly for warranty claims.
If the manufacturer is unable to fulfil your warranty claim - contact us
directly for support.
· Seagate claims can be made on the Seagate Website
· Western Digital claims can be made on the Western
Digital Website, or on the HGST Website if not available from Western Digital
· HGST claims can be made on the HGST Website, or on the
Western Digital Website if not available from HGST
Who pays for return shipping?
· ServerPartDeals will provide return shipping for
items, within 30 days of purchase, being replaced within the contiguous United
States if the item is received Dead on Arrival or Failed.
· These
replacement reasons will be verified upon receipt of return.
· International replacement shipping charges are paid by
the customer.
Warranties
How do I make a warranty claim?
· Your ServerPartDeals warranty can be claimed by
contacting the RMA department. Please have the following information.

· Manufacturer warranties should be claimed directly
with the manufacturer unless within 30 days of the purchase. We do offer
support to help you through the process of the manufacture warranty claim.
· International orders and products exported outside the USA require proof of malfunction for defective returns
Do I receive a refund or replacement if I have a warranty claim?
ServerPartDeals will make every effort to replace items of warranty
claims. If the item is not available for replacement and has a valid warranty,
ServerPartDeals will issue a refund.
