This is a vintage original movie poster as issued by the film studio. The title of the item will indicate the film title, year, single or double sided poster, whether issued rolled or folded, and the approximate size of the poster. Up until the 1980's, movie posters and other advertising materials were printed in very limited quantities and theatres rented them from the studios. Most arrived at the theater folded from the studio supplier and were returned to the studio or destroyed after use resulting in the rarity and value of original posters. Different sizes were offered depending on the needs of the studio or theaters. While we are avid and careful collectors and investors, we do not “grade” our own items. While most of the posters appear to be in new or gently used condition, we grade each as “Original”. It is important to remember that most authentic and original movie posters were actually issued and used at theaters and will contain slight imperfections and signs of use and handling. For movie posters that are rolled, we may use a stock photo to show the poster being sold. Actual photos will be used for all folded posters, older posters, or posters that show significant wear. We do not sell any reproductions or reprints and guarantees the authenticity of this movie poster.
